Our story
Hi, I'm Emma - maker and designer, and the person behind every Duck Duck Goose lampshade.
I started Duck Duck Goose because I couldn't find lampshades that felt as characterful as the rest of my home. Everything I saw was safe, neutral, forgettable. So I started creating my own designs - illustrated cats with too much personality, bold botanical patterns in colours that shouldn't work together but do, playful prints that look like they're in on the joke - and turning them into drum lampshades, one at a time.
Every shade is made to order in my workshop here in Huddersfield. That's why dispatch takes 2-3 weeks rather than 2-3 days - it's worth the wait. When you buy from Duck Duck Goose, you're buying something a factory line could never quite replicate.
